"Porn Kills"

     Mike (Robert Williams) has an obsession with porn. It interferes with his entire life. Because of his obsession, he starts flunking out of school, he loses his girlfriend, and he loses his job. Soon everything changes, for the worse. He becomes obsessed with a new video starring Andromeda Strange (Caroline Pierce), The Porn Vixen from Hell. With a mixture of erotica and brutality, each time Mike watches she becomes sexier, yet more brutal, starting with self mutilation, leading up to utter slaughter. Can Mike escape his obsession, or will it totally consume him?

     This would be classified in the ever growing genre of horror/erotica, with plenty of hardcore scenes. I've seen quite a few films fitting this genre, but this has got to be the best of them. With a great, original story, David Quitmeyer does an amazing job for his film debut. This film has "cult classic" written all over it.

     From beginning to end, I was amazed. This is not just your typical "horrornograhy". With elements of both horror and hardcore erotica, it is blended and mixed very well. Everything just fits right into place. It isn't just a horror film with hardcore sex or vice versa. It's a work of art that works better than any film I've seen of this kind. Too many films of the "horrornography" genre try to put too much focus on one element or the other. Not here. This works from beginning to end.

     The camera work during the Andromeda Strange sequences were utterly amazing. The visual effects with the grinding original music by Peter Gorritz was the perfect mixture. Just the music itself gives one the feeling of erotic brutality.

     The acting is done very well for an independent caliber film. Robert Williams as Mike, the porn obsessed masturbator, was spot on. He plays this role perfectly. As for the role of Andromeda Strange, played by Caroline Pierce, all I can say is wow. Not only hot, with a smoking body, this role was made for her. She is perfect in this role, in being both erotic and brutal.

     The effects couldn't have been done better. Very realistic looking. Especially the scene of self mutilation and a particular scene that includes the claw end of a hammer and a head. Gruesome isn't even a strong enough word to describe this scene.

     This film has it all. An original storyline, plenty of hardcore scenes, a good bit of bloodshed, self mutilation, cannibalism, gore, and some good carnage. Everything you want is right here. If hardcore erotica does not offend you, then don't hesitate to pick this film up. For a film debut, this is amazing. I can't wait to see what David Quitmeyer brings us next.

I would rate this film an 8.75 erotic demon bitch from hell.
